  Birds of Prophecy Spiral: The triskele, which is prevalent in this piece is an ancient spiral symbol representing the trinity of birth, death and rebirth; the cycles of existence. Three of the seven (both fortunate and magical numbers) main triskeles in this piece are made up of birds. Birds in Celtic culture are deliverers of prophecy and are omens that portent the future.
